July 3, 2009The U.S. – Montenegro Business council hosted at the United States Ambassador’s residence in Montengero a July 4th celebration.
June 13, 2009The U.S. - Montenegro Business Council along with the Montenegrin Investment Promotion Agency held a press conference in Podgorica, Montenegro announcing the release of the international trade and investment documentary, Montenegro: Jewel of the Adriatic, highlighting trade and business opportunities between the United State and Montenegro. The documentary was subsequently aired three times on television in the Western Balkans.
December 16, 2008The U.S. - Montenegro Business Council, as guests of the national government of Montenegro and Capital-City Podogrica opened its office in Montenegro. On this same date, the State of Maryland opened a trade office in Montenegro by utilizing the office space and staff of the U.S. - Montenegro Business Council.
September 8, 2008Mayor Miomir Mugosa and Maryland's Secretary of State John P. McDonough signed a friendship agreement between the State of Maryland and Capitol City - Podgorica.

Minister Gvozdenovic met with David Edgerley, Maryland’s Secretary of the Department of Business and Economic Development, to discuss the possibility of various business exchange programs.

This meeting allowed for the beginning of a dialogue aimed at facilitating trade opportunities between Montenegro’s Port of Bar and Maryland's Port of Baltimore.
April 10, 2008The U.S. – Montenegro Business Council along with the University of Baltimore School of Law hosted an event entitled “An Independent Montenegro Year Two: Moving toward NATO and the EU.” Miodrag Vlahovic, Montenegro’s Ambassador to the United States, was the featured speaker.
